KOREAN VICE MINISTER VISITS THE BIDTI

Korean vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cho Byung-jae who is also the Chancellor of the Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) visited the Bandaranaike International Diplomatic Training Institute (BIDTI) on 31st August, 2017. He was accompanied by Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Sri Lanka Won-sam Chang and a delegation from Korea.

Vice Minister who was attending the 2nd Indian Ocean meeting held in Colombo took the opportunity to visit the BIDTI to discuss the implementation of the MoU signed between the Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) and the Bandaranaike International Diplomatic Training Institute (BIDTI) on 15th March 2017. Director General Pamela J Deen welcoming the Vice Minister Cho Byung-jae and the delegation stated that signing of the MoU between the two Institutes as well as his visit has further strengthen the bilateral relations between the two countries. This year marks the 40th anniversary of establishment of the Diplomatic relations between Sri Lanka and the Republic of Korea.
